Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) created American Pets Alive! (AmPA!) in order to show other communities how to create and manage the same life-saving programs that helped make Austin No Kill.

AmPA! hosts yearly conferences where rescue groups & shelters from all over the nation learn directly from APA! staff & volunteers. AmPA! also, answers emails & phone calls from shelters and rescue groups to provide guidance and information on programs and steps to take for their community.

We offer yearly conferences in Austin Texas that anyone is welcome to attend & learn how to bring new life-saving programs back to their community.

We also offer webinars on this website to help spread knowledge of programs to those that can not attend our yearly conference.  We hope to offer more in the future.

Our goal at AmPA is to provide resources that empower you to make your community no kill.  If you find that something is not answered in one of the webinars, or resources on our site please email us at email hidden; JavaScript is required and we will do our best to help you find an answer.

We work with grants, corporate sponsorship, & donations.  AmPA is a program of Austin Pets Alive which is a 501(c) (3) recognized charity by the IRS.  Our tax ID is 74-2893360.
