American Pets Alive! is proud to announce that they will be hosting the fourth annual American Pets Alive! No-Kill Conference the weekend of February 22-24 at the historic InterContinental Stephen F. Austin hotel in downtown Austin, Texas.
The American Pets Alive! Conference will be hosting speakers from all over the nation as well as members of our own staff here at APA! eager to spread the No-Kill mission. We want No-Kill to be as accessible and believable as possible to anybody interested in making a difference in their community by providing as many resources as we can. This conference is an excellent opportunity for No-Kill supporters to come together, share ideas, and increase awareness of the success that this important movement has had across the nation.
We are also excited to announce that this year’s conference is unique in that we are offering various tracks aimed at different levels of audience. For example, we will offer classes for small grassroots community movements trying to get off the ground, already existing No-Kill shelters, leadership, PR and marketing, as well as specific lectures on dog and cat programs and issues.
Tickets and registration information can be found at www.americanpetsalive2014.eventbrite.com. A detailed schedule of the lectures can be found, as well as an opportunity to purchase tickets for the conference. Members of the state animal control are encouraged to attend, as many of our classes will offer ACO CE credit. For questions please contact Hilary Bentley at info.americanpetsalive.org.
This year’s conference will be more exciting and informative than ever before and we look forward to seeing you there!
