Adrienne Longenecker is a transformational leader, Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE), marketing strategist, speaker, community servant, and Mom, who also happens to love fashion, football and her two doggies!
Adrienne attended public school in Austin and earned her bachelor of fine arts from the University of Texas. In 2009 she earned the standing of Certified Fund Raising Professional (CFRE), an internationally recognized title indicating successful career advancement, professional knowledge and ethical leadership within the profession.
Adrienne’s career in fundraising, marketing and business development began more than 15 years ago when, in addition to teaching choreographing and performing, she joined the Roanoke Ballet Theatre of Roanoke, VA’s development department as their Marketing Coordinator.
She currently serves as the Chief Advancement Officer of Austin Pets Alive!, fearlessly leading a staff of marketing, event, and donor relations professionals as APA! builds the path to the future and redefines how a generation thinks about animal welfare.
Adrienne never misses an opportunity to grow as a leader and fundraising professional. In 2010, Adrienne attended the Nonprofit Management Institute sponsored by the Stanford Social Innovation Review and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). Adrienne is honored to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Austin Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She currently serves as President Elect. Her most important role is being a loving mother to her wonderful son, Vance Mader.
Adrienne will speak at the 2014 American Pets Alive No-Kill Conference about taking fundraising to the next level – from grass roots to a multi-million dollar organization.
