Palmer Neuhaus is currently employed as a financial advisor. She started volunteering in rescue/shelter at the Cedar Park SPCA while in college. After college, she went on to work for Town Lake Animal Center and helped create their first Heath and Temperament Team which evaluated the animals. While there, she helped transition from the use of a gas chamber to injection euthanasia. Palmer joined APA! in 2008 as a volunteer and Board Member. She helped create some of the early structure for the dog foster program and the rescue program. She has also served for the past few years on Austin’s Animal Advisory Commission.
