We are happy to announce the launch of the American Pets Alive website!

In 2011 Austin Pets Alive! made sharing their life saving programs with others a top priority. APA! started American Pets Alive! (AmPA!) in order to show other communities how to create and manage the same life saving programs that helped make Austin the largest No Kill city in the country.

Over the past two years we have hosted two No Kill conferences in Austin, Texas where rescue groups and shelters from all over the nation came to learn directly from APA! staff and volunteers. Our third conference is coming up, so if you are interested you can learn more and register on this site.

In order to reach a larger audience we created this website to share many of the same programs that are featured at our conference. Right now you can learn about APA!’s PASS (Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender) Program or how to approach Political Advocacy from our webinar section. We will be making lots of updates through the coming months to provide you and your community with additional resources like “How To Start And Manage A Foster Program,” “Saving Neonatal Kittens,” and more!

You can also sign up for our monthly newsletter to get updates on the latest webinars and articles. Feel free to contact us at email hidden; JavaScript is required if you have any questions, and we look forward to seeing even more lives saved in 2013!
